There is no harm in meeting a girl in the beginning of the night, conversing and bar hoping together. No matter what your friends my say (“come on man there are other chicks at other bars”) or what your original game plan might have consisted of, nothing beats a good conversation and if you do dance you’ll have already broken the ice.
Facebook/Twitter are part of our lives. Accept it. Make your profile picture an actual picture of yourself. Nothing is more annoying than searching for someone and it’s a picture of their dog or something random.
Side note: Never make it a picture of your niece/nephew. You never know what people will think. Especially that cute girl/guy you met and told to friend you.

To prevent yourself from texting while on a date limit your texting with friends. What I mean is when you are with your friends, do not text. It will help you to focus on what is going on around you and pay attention to what is going on and limit your need to constantly check your phone. Your next date will appreciate it.
